10 life coaching myths

10 life coaching myths (this is what I was afraid people would think about me when I said I was a life coach!):

  • I wore a beanie
  • I always talked in a hushed tone and followed everything I said with the word ‘man’
  • I couldn’t hack the 9-5
  • All I talk about are crystals and auras
  • I only work with people who are on an existential trip
  • Everything I did had no basis in science
  • I sit with people in a circle all day and talk about their feelings
  • I made up a job because I couldn’t handle a ‘real’ one
  • I am not to be taken seriously
  • All I do is post cliches and quotes on social media

If you want to do something better and faster than you could on your own, you hire a coach. If you want to get to the root of what's holding you back, you hire a coach. If you know what you want but you're not sure how to get there, you hire a coach. If you want less people pleasing, less anger, less coasting through life, you hire a coach. If you want more confidence, self-worth and direction, you hire a coach.
